Fishing on holiday in england

I havent been making any new stuff recently as im on holiday in england. I brought a telescopic rod and some lures with me. While i was in a shop the other day i saw a nice rovex ultra lite spinning rod and i was looking for a rod for small lures so i got it. Anyways while testing it i got a nice 3 or 4 lb sea bass which i was very happy and surprised with. It was a very fun fight on such a small light weight rod. Heres some pictures. I forgot to take photos of the fish on the bank because i got too excited..

Sea bass are becoming one of my favourite lure fishing fish. They are like perch but they get much bigger. There are a lot of big mullet about as well. I have never caught one so i might have to have a go at catching one.

Large cranks continued

Im still working on large crankbaits for pike and wels. I ve been testing the others i had made previously and im happy with the action, look etc here is three more i just finished..

I ve been trying to make some larger crankbaits for summer. I already made a few before but i wanted to make a load of rattling ones as well. Here they are some of them..

 Its a shame my camera or lack of photography skills dont show the effects of some of the paint. The white one has a holographic glitter effect. Overall all im happy with the way they came out. There will be more to come.

Not alot to say about these finnish style lures very much of the same as they worked so well. I really liked the action from the step style lip, They have a nice wiggle. Heres some pics..

Same again with the special effects paint shame it doesnt show up on the pictures, Oh well hope the fish like it.
