New stuff at last

I havent been updating my blog for a while because i didnt really have anything to write about. I have been working alot through the summer so i didnt have much time and the rain this summer in switzerland has been so bad. Most rivers have been flooded or so muddy there was really no point even trying. Also my boat got damaged by this rubbish weather so been trying to sort things out. Anyway now work has slowed down so I started to build again, and been upgrading my equipment. I purchased a harder and steenbeck infinity airbrush and a new compressor, so i should be able to do more detailed paint jobs. I have also ordered some silcone and polyurethane for casting plastic lures. I made one mold master so far and working on the second heres some pics.

I had bought some plastic blanks when i ordered some other stuff and last night was trying out the new airbrush on a few of them. They are 5.5cm.

I have been also working on some new models so looking forward to getting them painted up.

So i have got loads to work on and hopefully not too long till the next update. Tight lines and thanks.

Checking out a new river

Well i still dont seem to have much time for doing anything really at the moment apart from work. I was away for a couple of days, and managed to check out a new river. Unfortunatly i didnt bring a rod but i will be going back soon. It is a very typical small trout river running through a gorge, i did see alot of trout and a couple of big ones. Anyway it was such a nice scenic place i thought  id post some pictures and here they are

A quick session out on a small river

I havent had so much time recently for my fishing activities because of work. It sucks my busyest work time is in the summer, my favourite fishing time. Anyhow i managed to slip in a quick session one day i was fishing on a very small river which has a good population of trout, barble and chub. I didnt have much time so decided to bring just my ultra light set up, Im really enjoying ultra light fishing at the moment(great fun). It turned out to be a very good session for switzerland i caught lots of brown trout and a couple of small chub. Here are some pictures of the day..........

 

Fishing on holiday in england

I havent been making any new stuff recently as im on holiday in england. I brought a telescopic rod and some lures with me. While i was in a shop the other day i saw a nice rovex ultra lite spinning rod and i was looking for a rod for small lures so i got it. Anyways while testing it i got a nice 3 or 4 lb sea bass which i was very happy and surprised with. It was a very fun fight on such a small light weight rod. Heres some pictures. I forgot to take photos of the fish on the bank because i got too excited..

Sea bass are becoming one of my favourite lure fishing fish. They are like perch but they get much bigger. There are a lot of big mullet about as well. I have never caught one so i might have to have a go at catching one.

Large cranks continued

Im still working on large crankbaits for pike and wels. I ve been testing the others i had made previously and im happy with the action, look etc here is three more i just finished..
