Autumn builds (part 1)

Well this last week i have made a few bits and pieces, Nothing really new but im leaving new stuff for winter when there is no point fishing alot. At the moment im enjoying ultra light fishing for chub, There are so many nice sized ones about at the moment and they are hungry so its quite fun. Anyway first of all are a couple of pike flies. They are a bit smaller than the last ones i made but i quite like the look of them and am sure a pike would take them. Here they are..

 I have also been making some more finnish style trolling lures, They work so well and i had so many fish on them i thought id stock up on them. I got a bit camera happy..

I have other stuff finishing in the next day or days so ill have another post fairly soon. Untill then tight lines and enjoy the autumn fishing, its the best.

Some new pike flies

Hello, recently i have been out fishing alot when i have had free time, The weather has been pretty good and autumn brings some better action. At the moment there has been alot of nice chub around so i have been having fun with them on ultra light tackle. On the building front ive been a bit slow but steadily getting a load of stuff ready for painting, Ill try post something about that soon. What i have done recently is tying a pike flies to try out, I dont know how good my normal fly rod will throw them but ill give it a try. If the fly rod doesnt handle them i will try them out on a texas or carolina rig with minium weight, either way ill be able to offer them to the water wolf. Heres some pictures.

I tested a couple out in the water while i was fishing and i gotta say they do look really nice in the water, Very sparkley and flashey with a good profile. Till next time tight lines and thanks for looking.

Blank spraying

Hello. I havent been up to so much lately in the building side of things as the weather has been good, so the water was calling. Anyways i have almost finished spraying up the blanks i bought recently and thought id post some of the pics. Im trying to sell most of them at moment because i need more silicone. Here they are.

Im quite happy how they turned out. I also made a couple more slider style jerks in nice flashy colours hopefully it will get the autumn pike going..

Lastly i made i bigger trolling bait out of a jerkbait blank i had. Just made it rattle, changed the weight placement and slapped a big saddle lip on it. Im looking forward to see how it goes. I like the colour as well white with a blue pearl sheen to it, Normally gets the pike going where i fish..

Its so hard to photograph the special effects paint i use. Till next time tight lines..

Perch swimmers and others

Hello just a quick photo update on some stuff ive been working on. First off the perch swimmer, Im really happy the way it came out and the way it swims, I think this will be a successful lure..

I also made one in a different pattern, not sure if i like it yet..

I have also been spraying some blanks i bought, need to stock up on deeper diving lures.

I kept the colours pretty basic i just wanted to test how they work next time im fishing. They came out ok though. I also sprayed up a jerkbait i made recently i really like the action of it, Its floating and works back just under the surface.

I have made other stuff but basically just copies of whats been posted before, They are for sale i have to try fund my next load of plastic. Till next time tight lines.
